Pioneer A-449 è un amplificatore stereo integrato "vintage" prodotto tra il 1990 e il 1991 in Giappone. È noto per la sua costruzione solida, spesso descritta come un "blocco di ferro" per la sua robustezza (pesa circa 8,1 kg), e per la pulizia del suono garantita dal sistema "Clean Ground".
Specifiche Tecniche Principali
Questo modello offre una potenza adeguata per la maggior parte degli impianti domestici, con una distorsione armonica estremamente bassa:
- Potenza di uscita: 60 Watt per canale su 8Ω (80 Watt su 4Ω).
- Risposta in frequenza: Estesa da 5 Hz a 100 kHz.

- Rapporto segnale/rumore: 108 dB (linea).
- Ingressi: Phono (sia per testine MM che MC), CD, Tuner, Line, e due loop per Tape.
Caratteristiche e Funzionalità
- Interfaccia Analogica: Non dispone di telecomando o connettività moderna come il Bluetooth; è un dispositivo puramente analogico focalizzato sulla qualità musicale.
- Controlli di Tono: Include regolazioni per Bassi, Alti e Bilanciamento, oltre alla funzione "Direct" per escludere i circuiti di tono e ottenere il percorso del segnale più puro possibile.
- Gestione Diffusori: Permette di collegare due coppie di casse (Speaker A e B) che possono essere utilizzate singolarmente o contemporaneamente.
- Filtro Subsonico e Loudness: Funzioni utili per migliorare l'ascolto a bassi volumi o per proteggere i woofer da frequenze eccessivamente basse nei vinili.
