Il Denon DRS-810 è una piastra a cassette a tre testine di fascia alta prodotta nei primi anni '90. La sua caratteristica più distintiva è il sistema di caricamento orizzontale a cassettetto, progettato per mimetizzarsi esteticamente con i lettori CD dell'epoca.
Caratteristiche Tecniche Principali
- Meccanica a 3 Testine: Permette il monitoraggio del nastro in tempo reale durante la registrazione.
- Doppio Capstan a circuito chiuso (Closed Loop Dual Capstan): Garantisce una tensione costante del nastro e riduce al minimo il wow & flutter (fluttuazioni di velocità inferiori allo 0,038% WRMS).
- Motori: Sistema di trazione a 3 motori controllato da computer (più un quarto motore dedicato esclusivamente al movimento del carrello).
- Regolazione del Bias (Bias Fine): Permette la calibrazione manuale della premagnetizzazione per ottimizzare la resa ad alta frequenza a seconda della marca del nastro usato.
- Riduzione del Rumore: Supporta Dolby B, Dolby C e l'estensione dinamica Dolby HX Pro, oltre a un filtro MPX disattivabile.
- Compatibilità Nastri: Selezione automatica del tipo di nastro per Tipo I (Normal), Tipo II (Chrome) e Tipo IV (Metal).
- Risposta in Frequenza: Spazia da 15 Hz a 22 kHz utilizzando nastri Metal
