Un set-up analogico essenziale ma di qualità, che guarda sia al classico vinile che al computer e alla sua libreria di file audio digitali. E' quello che possiamo ottenere con lo stadio phono PP4 che ci mette a disposizione sia ingressi per testine MM e MC che una porta USB. In questo con un unico apparecchio (di prezzo contenuto oltretutto) possiamo utilizzare un giradischi da collegare al resto dell'impianto o per digitalizzare (a 16bit/48kHz) proprio questi vinili su computer PC o MAC grazie al software VinylStudio Lite fornito. Sfruttando l'ulteriore connessione RCA possiamo collegare al PP4 anche un registratore analogico per fare lo stesso con le vecchie cassette. I valori a disposizione per i due ingressi sono quelli che si adattano ad una buona parte delle testine in commercio: per MC 100 ohm e 180 pF, per MM 47k ohm e 200 pF, con un guadagno rispettivamente di 58 e 35 dB. Il sistema Auto Power Down provvede a scollegare la corrente se per qualche minuto il dispositivo non rileva segnale in ingresso.
