PSB's Alpha S8 powered subwoofer continues the tradition of high-performance and value. Despite its compact size and affordability, it excels in delivering robust bass for music and home theater systems. The Alpha S8 features an 8" woofer with a responsive polypropylene cone, housed in a specially tuned bass reflex enclosure for optimal performance.
PSB has been making critically-acclaimed speakers for more than 50 years and are known for subwoofers that deliver exceptional performance and value. The Alpha S8 will astound with adding lifelike realism for both music and movies to PSB speakers or any high-performance speaker.
The Alpha S8 stands out with its custom 8” long-throw driver and a well-tuned bass reflex enclosure, ensuring extraordinary bass performance. Its high-efficiency digital amplifier pumps out 210W of dynamic power for deep, precise bass. What's more, the S8 employs digital signal processing (DSP) to optimize performance, delivering a flat frequency response and impressive bass extension.
The Alpha S8's rear-ported cabinet is incredibly compact, making it easy to place in any room. The rear panel hosts handy features like Volume and Crossover Controls, a Phase Switch, Low Level Input, AutoOn/Standby Switch, Gold-plated RCAs, a USB Power Jack for the RT100 wireless accessory, and supplied rubber bumpers and spikes for setting up on hardwood or carpeted floors.
