Il nuovo profilo del cono mid/bass curvo, perfettamente liscio e continuo, dalla eccellente dispersione e risposta in frequenza ben controllata, promette un’integrazione più fluida con il tweeter, una dinamica superiore per i bassi ed una distorsione minore. Importanti magneti accoppiati a bobine mobili di grandi dimensioni aumentano la forza del motore: il risultato è un aumento del 50% nella gestione della potenza e nel controllo rispetto a un driver comparabile con bobina da 25,4 mm.

Un nuovo Tweeter Basato sulla progettazione del tweeter impiegato nella Serie Concept, l’unità driver ad alta frequenza è isolata meccanicamente (flottante) dal pannello frontale, per evitare modulazioni di pressione interna dall’interno del cabinet e dal driver mid/bass adiacente. La camera interna è inoltre accuratamente ventilata per una minore distorsione, con un punto di crossover inferiore. Design del cabinet La tecnologia Point to Point Bracing, sviluppata nella Serie Concept, rafforza internamente il cabinet nei punti di maggiore sollecitazione delle basse frequenze, per ridurre al minimo le vibrazioni, focalizzando l’immagine stereo e migliorando il soundstage.

Sophisticated and contemporary design

The reductive nature of the C3 Continuous Curved Cone’s™ appearance is also reflected in the 5000 series minimalist design, with its sophisticated but contemporary lines leaning towards the elegant form of the latest Concept speaker series. The baffle fronts are laminated with a layer of butyl rubber and black acrylic trim, not only to provide a damping layer to suppress vibration occurring in the baffle, but to offer an eye-catching counterpoint to the cosmetically clean front presentation uninterrupted by any fixings.
