The GLE Series speakers are technically convincing and visually appealing: thanks to these qualities, the attractive and versatile GLE models have been among the most popular speakers in Europe for many years. Now we have completely revised the successful GLE model range - both visually and technically. What has remained is the strong price-performance ratio and, of course, the convincingly good Canton sound. The new GLE series is led by the flagship GLE 90, a powerful and dynamic floorstanding speaker in 3-way construction, which not only puts its outstanding sound characteristics on the line, but also scores points with its listeners with an attractive, harmonious design. The finest technology takes its place on the slim baffle and creates the unique Canton sound - recently with our outstanding drivers made of titanium, which is allowed to move into the current GLE series.

The technology: Better than ever

Striving for the best sound means a lot of hard work and the use of the latest technology. Our GLE speakers benefit from the advances we're constantly making in speaker development, both visually and technically. Precise, powerful bass is the domain of the two 192 mm woofers, which deliver phenomenal low bass in the voluminous bass reflex cabinet. Instead of the previous drivers with aluminium diaphragms, woofer specialists with highly stable titanium diaphragms are now in use: these can follow fast music impulses even more precisely. In the acoustically immensely important midrange, too, we use titanium drivers in the current GLE series. Thanks to the large 174 mm midrange driver, the GLE 90 sounds incredibly agile and shines with the best dynamics, outstanding resolution and unsurpassed balance. As ideal playing partners, we use our mature and well-proven aluminium-manganese tweeter systems with 25 mm domes, which are equipped with sophisticated waveguides for ideal sound dispersion and coupling and, thanks to optimised crossovers, enable reproduction up to 40,000 Hertz. The outstanding technical equipment of the current GLE generation is further underlined by the loudspeaker drivers with stable polycarbonate baskets, potent magnetic drives and triple folded wave surrounds.
